Next, the wool will be washed and dried. We\u2019ll focus on properly preparing the fibers and card the washed wool into a beautiful spinning fleece.<\/p>\n<p>Then it\u2019s time to spin: We\u2019ll use our prepared fibers to create a single yarn, which we\u2019ll then twist into a two-ply yarn to achieve the desired texture. Finally, the yarn is wound onto a bobbin and measured so we can start a project right away.<\/p>\n<p>A hands-on and varied one-day course for anyone who wants to truly get to know wool from the ground up and experience the journey from fleece to yarn firsthand.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What happens to a sheep\u2019s fleece after shearing?
