The June Cardigan is a open front cardigan and is seamlessly worked top down in one piece. It features a lace motif at the edges of the front. The pattern begins with a Provisional Cast-on for the upper back and continues until the end of” the armholes, while working a shoulder shaping with short rows. After undoing the Provisional Cast-on, both fronts are worked separately. The fronts are divided along the back neck and extend over the shoulders to the front. There are no shaping decreases or increases along the sides of the body. The intended fit is with approximately 10-15 cm / 4-6” of positive ease around the bust. The sample shown is size B, designed for a 84 cm / 33” bust circumference.
