Cumbria is a wonderfully delicate and silky-shiny blend of high-quality Pima cotton and bamboo viscose.

The blend of fibres makes Cumbria a wonderfully soft yarn that feels just as good against the skin as a merino-silk blend. Cumbria is very pleasant to work with and is equally suitable for knitting and crochet projects.

The fibre properties give Cumbria a cooling effect in summer, and the light fluffiness can definitely keep you warm in the cold season. This makes the vegan yarn a great all-season yarn. We have coordinated the colour palette accordingly for the whole year – from delicate and understated to bold and cheerful, everything is included.

Cumbria also impresses with its exceptional lightness and dimensional stability – a finished piece made from this beautiful yarn is sure to retain its shape!

Incidentally, our Cumbria yarn is named after the former home of Donald Watson, who founded the Vegan Society in 1944 and coined the word ‘vegan’
