Nienna Vest Pattern
CHF 7.00
The Nienna Vest is worked seamlessly top down, starting with the neckline and the back raglan. The body is worked with an all over lace pattern. As soon as the back reaches the underarms, the stitches for the fronts are picked up from the raglan edge. The fronts are then worked separately up to the underarm. The front and back sections are then joined together. A column of stockinette stitches is knitted along both sides of the vest to separate the lace pattern of the back and front. Once the hip bone is reached, a border of garter stitch is knitted around the entire vest, which is knitted in the round. The vest armhole has a small cuff of garter stitch. There are no shaping decreases or increases along the sides of the body. The intended fit is with approximately 10-15 cm / 4-6” of positive ease around the bust. The sample shown is size B, designed for a 85 cm / 33.5” bust circumference.
