The beautiful 3-ply Skadi Merino d’Arles GOTS from Hey Mama Wolf is something very special: at 21 microns, Merino d’Arles is the softest wool available in Europe. This rare breed of sheep carefully tends the landscapes in the south of France and the French Alps under controlled conditions. Due to the unusually strong crimp of the undercoat for merino sheep, yarn spun from this wool is particularly fluffy, soft and airy.

Knitting with Skadi is an absolute pleasure. It is light, voluminous and as soft as a cloud. It is wonderful for light jumpers, jackets, hats and scarves.
