The Zaja Sweater is seamlessly worked first in the round, then flat, sideways. It features an overall pattern in broken rib and slipped stitch columns. The pattern begins with a cast-on for the cuff and continues until the end of the upper arm. Now the Body will set up and worked until the neckline decreases. After that both sides will be worked separately. The other side of the sweater will be worked the same way. Both fronts and backs will be joined with a modified 3 Needle Bind-off. At the end stitches will be picked up for neckline and hem. There are no shaping decreases or increases along the sides of the body. The intended fit is with approximately 18 cm / 7” of positive ease around the bust. The sample shown is size B, designed for a 84 cm / 33” bust.
